What I collect and why

Contact form. When you send the form, I process the name, email address, message and optional website URL you provide. I use these only to reply to your enquiry. The basis is legitimate interest and preparing for a possible engagement.

Site analytics. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which collects anonymous, aggregate usage data such as page views, referring site and country. It uses no cookies and does not track individuals across sites. The basis is legitimate interest in improving the site.

Cookies, analytics and marketing measurement

Cloudflare may set cookies that are strictly necessary for operation and security. With your marketing consent, the site loads the OpenAI pixel to measure advertising results and sends a page_viewed event for the current page and a lead_created event when a contact request is successfully submitted. The event does not include the name, email address or message from your form. OpenAI may process browser, device and page information through its SDK. Marketing measurement is based on your consent. You can accept all optional tracking, reject it, or choose analytics and marketing separately and change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Rejecting tracking does not affect the site or contact form. Your choice is stored in your browser for 180 days; after that, we ask again.

With your separate analytics consent, Google Analytics 4 measures site usage and successful contact requests (generate_lead). It uses cookies and processes usage, browser and device information. Form names, email addresses and messages are not included in the events we send. Google advertising signals and advertising personalization are disabled. Analytics cookies and your consent choice are set to expire after 180 days. Withdrawing analytics consent stops collection and removes this site’s Google Analytics cookies. See Google’s privacy policy. Cloudflare’s cookie-free aggregate analytics remains separate.

Sharing and processors

I use trusted providers: Cloudflare (site hosting and analytics), Web3Forms (form delivery), Apple iCloud (email) Google (Google Analytics 4, only with your analytics consent) and OpenAI (marketing measurement, only with your marketing consent). Some providers may process data outside the EU and EEA, for example in the United States. Contact form contents are not sent to the OpenAI pixel. Retention

I keep enquiry messages for as long as handling your matter requires, and delete them once they are no longer needed.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, request correction or erasure, and object to processing. To exercise these, contact miro@mietti.fi. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
